This week, City Council adopted a recommendation to remove parking minimum mandates citywide. Big transit-ions are on the way… 🚈
Last week, VTA officials shared their vision for the upcoming stations included in the BART Silicon Valley Phase II Project — which will extend service from the Berryessa Transit Center into Downtown and end in Santa Clara.
Fly through videos emphasize the open-air + natural light features in the Santa Clara St. station, high-speed escalators needed to descend ~80 ft to the single-bore train tunnel, and the rotunda design of the Diridon Station that incorporates shades of teal — for our Sharks, of course.
You can subscribe to updates or follow VTA’s Twitter to stay on top of the project’s progress.
