Thanks to a $30,000 grant from the San Jose Sharks Foundation, San Jose students at KIPP Elementary School rolled up their sleeves to gain knowledge + give back. ❤️ Led by Habitat for Humanity, this program taught critical STEM concepts in art, math, and construction to students who then built 10 playhouses that were donated to local families in need. 🔨 This program was funded back in January — that month, the Sharks Foundation gave more than $54,000 to local organizations in honor of Education Month. |
